Jim Stewart


Jim is a certified project manager with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex technical projects in multinational environments. He has been an instructor in computer (since 1983) and project management (since 2002). He successfully ran projects deploying solutions in network infrastructure, Internet security, enterprise network solutions, and applications development. For the last ten years, Jim has been principal of JPStewart Associates, which provides project consulting, training and mentoring to corporations and universities. Over the last ten years he has taught hundreds of students to become PMP’s in both virtual and on-site sessions. He also provides on-site training to corporations in Risk and Project Management basics. He was most recently on the faculty of Brandeis University. In consulting, he has spent much time working in pharmaceutical, IT and financial organizations to help them create initial project artifacts. He most recently (Oct. 2012) presented at Project Summit Boston on Top Ten Reasons Why Projects Fail.
