Stuxnet, a worm in Iran's nuclear plant control system, was the beginning. We are now seeing foreign cyber penetration into the North American power grid, water plants, chemical plants and other critical infrastructure facilities. Mistakes in cyber space mean adversaries can penetrate networks not at the speed of people, but at the speed of the network. Cyber experts believe the cyber domain is the most vulnerable point for US defenses and that the US is not yet ready for cyber war.

This webinar will focus on management issues that are the primary drivers of success or failure for large software projects. While failures are unfortunately common, the root causes are rarely technical in nature. This session will focus on five high leverage factors that are present in every larger project, including sizing; cost, schedule and quality estimation; quality planning and quality assurance; project planning, monitoring, and reporting; and requirements management.
